At Kinetic Health we approach Sport Chiropractic Care with a neuron/biomechanical approach that is strongly supported by the latest scientific studies.
Sports Chiropractic is a speciality area within chiropractic. To practice as a Sports Chiropractor requires a registered chiropractor to undertake additional post-graduate qualifications in sports injury management. The additional study allows the Sport Chiropractor to draw from a greater set of tools when assessing and treating injuries to effectively treat injuries in all areas of the body, not just the spine.
We use treatment methods that combine osseous manipulation (hands-on adjustments) with soft-tissue technique, such as Active Release Technique & Graston Technique. These treatments are supplemented by our Kinetic Health System incorporating rehabilitation exercises that strengthen weakened muscle groups, improve flexibility, and assist in preventing conditions from returning.
We use Chiropractic adjustments/manipulation to:
- Treat musculoskeletal conditions
- Relieve pain
- Improve function by restoring freedom of motion
- Improve nervous system function by manipulating both the spinal column and the body’s extremities
